Note: Be patient with this clip. It's an awesome piece from Twin Peaks, (and very funny), but Madchen comes in after about four minutes. It's worth watching.

I, like a few million other young fellas, had the above poster thumb-tacked to my bedroom wall, so I could live a little closer to the Farrah magic. Farrah truly set the standard for the ultimate "TV" girl. She turned up the heat without really coming off as a slut, and by today's standards--that's pretty hard to do. She created a tidal wave of influence on female hairstyles and carried a show that suffered from unoriginal plots, bad acting, and poor writing.
