THE ANGRY SAMOANS "LIVE" @ THE DISTILLERY in SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA
FEATURING: "METAL" MIKE SAUNDERS

Head pounding ancient monkey evil. Late show, didn’t get home until 4 a.m., cuz Metal Mike wasn’t allowed to take the stage for his Angry Samoans show until after midnight, maybe after 1 a.m., [I lost track of time and space] but it was actually worth the wait.

I thought after all these years Mike might get up there and start screwing around, but the tunes blasted lean and mean as the mosh pit threatened teeth and sanity.

I got a fat lip, but I’m pretty sure it was an act of love and respect.

Meanwhile, when not on stage you could find Metal Mike selling Wiggles T-shirts and other bitchin’ thrifty goods.

I’m gong to give this show a solid “A.” It would have been an “A+,” but Mike stole his Samoans sweatshirt back from Lucy Hell and that made her sad.

Otherwise, it was a perfecto punk rock offering. Highly recommended.
